Jackie introduced me to you in the summer of 2003 while vacationing in Whistler, at a time when I needed a significant amount of dental work done. I was so pleased with your beautiful office, friendly and efficient staff, state of the art equipment, and the professional pain free dental service, that I will now be a life long client, willing to travel from Palm Springs, California, once to twice a year to have my dental work done by you and your staff. You have epitomized the concept 'one stop shopping' in the dental industry. Your ability to make a crown on site and complete the dental work in one visit as opposed to making a temporary and coming back for an appointment is uncommon in the dental industry and distinguishes you from the majority of your peers. The fact that so many of your customers are willing to travel from America to Whistler for their dental work is a strong endorsement of the outstanding service and professional dental work that you provide. John & Jackie - Palm Springs, California, USA I met Dr. McKenzie during the summer of 2000; I was in quite bad shape and in a lot of pain. Due to the many years I suffered from bulimia, my teeth were so worn out you couldn't even see them while I was talking. I was only able to drink from a straw and I was so embarrassed about the way I looked that I would never smile. I had been to a few dentists before and nobody seemed to be able to help me. Finally I was in so much pain, I started to call all the emergency 24 hour numbers in the yellow pages and the only one who answered my call was Dr. McKenzie. He met me at his office not even half an hour later and he never mentioned the fact that he was coming from the hospital where his daughter was just born! He took the time to treat the cause of my pain and he gave me confidence in a treatment that would actually help cure my teeth, get my smile back and allow me to eat normally - I left his office with a positive attitude and lots of hope. I was so comfortable with Dr. McKenzie, that on more than one occasion I fell asleep in his chair during treatment. Now I get compliments about my smile, can drink from a glass and can bite into a Big Mac! We always take everything for granted and we don't realize how important it is to just have somebody who cares; meeting Dr. McKenzie and his staff has been the best experience I've ever had here in Whistler and I feel they have been my angels. I had the pleasure of first meeting Dr. McKenzie at his magnificent office after I developed an abscess on the way over from Sydney, Australia. My first stop after checking into our hotel was Whistler Dental Office at midday where I was met with warm hospitality and an emergency appointment. Dr. McKenzie examined my tooth that was so loose it was on the verge of falling out. He wasted no time and reassured me that he can relieve my suffering. He drilled through the tooth, evacuated the abscess and completed a comprehensive root canal. I was skiing the next day! Four days later I returned for a crown. I continued skiing every day during my dental adventure. The year previously, my son, Paul, had a filling fall out whilst skiing and he sang the praises of Dr. McKenzie's expert service. A painless and cosmetically wonderful white filling was the result. The above experiences engendered great confidence in me regarding Dr. McKenzie's expertise, and this is what I really wish to highlight now: my wife, Rosemary, had a mouth full of amalgam and a bite that was not acceptable. She needed 5 crowns, 2 implants and extensive amalgam fillings removed and replaced. Apart from needing the dental work, she suffers with IGA Nephropathy and is extremely allergic and reacts to almost all known antibiotics. After repeated telephone calls, faxes and consultations with Dr. McKenzie, we decided to plan for a dental ski holiday. The undertaking was massive. Yes, we are all smiling and totally satisfied with the attentive service rendered by Dr. McKenzie. He is a complete professional and has great interest in restorative dentistry. All procedures were painless. I hereby unequivocally recommend Dr. McKenzie to any and all prospective patients requiring the most intricate dental work. Having the work done whilst one is on holiday, skiing or otherwise, is a very sensible approach as one is free to attend as required and go home rejuvenated and restored in more ways than one. Being an international patient has it's advantages. Dear Dr. McKenzie - Just a short note to say that you have now looked after my teeth for several years. Our coach had left Sun Peaks on route to Whistler on our once in a lifetime holiday, when one of my teeth caused me extreme pain. Our tour director organized an appointment with you very late in the day. You quickly diagnosed a root canal was necessary and it was started immediately. After completing part of the treatment you most kindly drove us back to our hotel. As the coach left at 9 am the next morning, you and your assistant started work early to finish the treatment. Again, you drove us back to the hotel to board our coach. Dear Dr. McKenzie - I just wanted to Thank You for helping me with my teeth. I don't really know too many people in this world that would do what you are willing to do for me and I feel very fortunate to know you for many reasons. Jay, you are a very kind and good person. When I came to see you, I was only hoping that I could get one implant done this year, but I never dreamed of having everything done by years end. You have made me a very, very happy person.
