I’m a retired airline pilot, over the years a lot of wear and tear on my teeth. Jay decided that I was in order for some restorative work. That was the technical side of things. Above and beyond that we developed a relationship that was fantastic. I’ve become very close to he and his family, we go skiing together. Beyond that, the people in Jay's office were just exceptional.

I’ve lived in whistler for 15 years, and I’ve known Jay for about that long.  About three years ago I approached Jay about doing my veneers because I just wasn’t quite happy.  I wanted to have perfect teeth.  January last year I took the plunge, and did 6 veneers with Jay, and I’ve been happy ever since.

Where I had great teeth before, I have exceptional teeth now.

I met Dr McKenzie in March 2004, he’d been recommended to me buy some friends.  I started off with a cleaning, and then we moved over to Jay's operation place.  I explained that I have a squint gum line.  Over the course of the next 12 to 18 months, he evened out my gum line, we replaced the front teeth and now I have a beautiful smile – I get compliments about my new teeth every day.

I’ve had my teeth worked on by Dr. McKenzie, years ago I was taking tetracycline and my upper teeth were quite grey. I’ve had problems with my bottom teeth – they were getting loose, I had some gum problems.  I went to Jay and now I have beautiful teeth, 6 veneers on top and implants on the bottom.  I’m very happy with Jay and his services and our family all goes to Jay.

I met Doctor McKenzie about 13 years ago. At the time I had very beautiful teeth; everyone commented that they were lovely. But until I met him – I never realized how beautiful my smile could be. I wanted them whiter, and a little bit larger. Doctor McKenzie gave me 12 new beautiful lumineers and I can’t say enough about them. The prep work was very easy; it was 2 very short appointments. I just love the results.

Our kids play with Jay’s kids. I met the Mackenzie’s through that before I was even in the dentist office. I went in, and he told me that I needed to get my back teeth fixed. I’m glad I did it. It’s certainly a bit of effort – it’s not painful and you end up with a pretty dynamite smile. I’ve had a lot of people just go “wow, you have nice teeth”.

After chatting with Jay about what was best for my health. We decided to put 8 new crowns in my upper teeth in order to improve my bite, and increase the longevity of my dental health.

I’m very happy with it, and would recommend it to anybody.

I’ve been going to Whistler Dental for 12 years. My needs were very basic at first. They were very good at what they did. That’s what I like about them. Over the years I’ve had a cosmetic dentistry case done of six veneers and the more I go to Jay the more I learn about how passionate he is about his dentistry. And how much continuing education he does for all his cases.

As you can tell, I’ve had some dental work. Who’s my dentist? Jay McKenzie.  And who's this guy Jay McKenzie?  A neighbor of mine in Whistler. He’s got great kids, an outstanding wife and the thing he does best in his whole life besides his famil, is his dental work.  I think I’m an attestation to that. Big man, light on his feet, even lighter hands, absolutely no pain.
