Laser Dentistry

Our office uses a Diode laser called a Sirolase by Sirona.  This wave-length of laser works on soft tissues.  In the mouth it is great for biopsies,  tissue retraction around crown preparations,  frenectomies and many other uses.  The beauty of a laser is in its preciseness.  The incision is the width of a beam of light.  Cutting with laser energy is sterile.  It is especially useful in procedures on children in that is fast and non-traumatic.
